PulsarApp Support

PulsarApp is a developer companion app for the Pulsar haptics SDK. It pairs with the Presets Playground in your browser, letting you feel haptic presets on a real iPhone as you browse the documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which devices are supported? PulsarApp requires an iPhone running iOS 16 or later with a Taptic Engine (iPhone 6s and newer).

Do I need a Pulsar SDK license? No. PulsarApp is a free companion tool. No account or license is required.

The connection is not working. What should I do?

• Make sure your iPhone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
• Reload the Presets Playground page and re-scan the QR code.
• Check that no firewall is blocking local network connections on your computer.

Haptics are not playing on my device.

• Check that the Ring/Silent switch on the side of your iPhone is set to Ring.
• Go to Settings → Sounds & Haptics and make sure System Haptics is enabled.
• Force-close and relaunch PulsarApp, then reconnect.
